I purchased the Density slider and believe I carefully went through the import process with my proper code as sent with my receipt. The page containing the code says that it is activated but the import program continues to run.
Or do you have problems with importing the demo sliders from Template Store ? If yes, could you please specify what is happening exactly when you try to import ? Do you get an error message or does the import never finish ?
Also, please check the System Status located on the WP sidebar for any related error messages.
I purchased LayerSlider because the advertising was good. However, I have not been able to locate any documentation to help me get it configured. Because of that, I don't know how to use it and do not understand the terms that are used in it. So I would like to know where I can get the complete documentation so that I can learn it.

There are multiple sources available that you check that will help you get started using LayerSlider. You can import the demo sliders from the Template Store to see what settings we used and how we set them up exactly. You can also read the tooltips with descriptions of the settings by hovering over each one of them.
