Not Working in Internet Explorer

I've been using Layerslider for several years without a glitch.

But unfortunately, my sliders stopped working in Internet Explorer after the most recent update to version 6.1

However, they still work in Firefox

I remember stumbling across some comments the other day to this effect, but I am unable to find them today.

    Please help,

    Brian

    Hey Brian,

Sorry for the late response. We were looking into this and doing some tests in IE but so far we were not able to reproduce the issue consistently on our end. What is the exact version number of IE you are using and on what Windows are you experiencing it ?

In the meantime you could also try to rule out any incompatibility issues by temporary disabling other plugins and switching to a default theme to see of that helps.

I too am having problems with IE 11, Windows 10 Home... I've deactivated the plugins and the slider still is not working.

    The website is at: http://216.14.120.13/~calibersi/

    Attile,

I don't mean to be rude, but I could swear that when I originally looked-into this problem there was an abundance of posts relating to the "LayerSlider Not working in Internet Explorer" issue.  However, I could be mistaken.

In any case, the version of Internet Explorer that I am using is 11.0.9600.18524 and the Operating System is Windows 7 and I've already tried deactivating all 21 plugins.

Please note that it is the 64-Bit version of Windows 7.

it is important to note that this problem started on BOTH of my websites (www.uncensoredpublications.com and www.nznaturalmedicine.com) immediately following the LayerSlider plugin update to version 6.1

So until we can determine the cause of the problem, can you please provide me with the .ZIP installation file for the previous LayerSlider version?

We have made some further tests using IE11 on different Windows versions but were not able to reproduce the problem yet (screenshots attached).

This issue might be related to a localized factor on your end, like browser addons and such. Please check if you are using anything of this kind. We will also investigate it further to see if we can find anything.

I have also attached the previous version.

I disabled all Internet Explorer Add-Ons but that didn't fix it...

I updated Internet Explorer from 11.0.37 to 11.0.38 but that didn't fix it...

I changed every Advanced Tab setting in Internet Explorer to the most unprotected, virus-inviting selection and that didn't fix it...

I backed-up my favorites, completely uninstalled Internet Explorer, rebooted and re-installed the latest version from a stand-alone file and that didn't fix it...

I disabled Internet Explorer's 'Protected Mode' in the Security Tab and THAT FIXED IT!

However, the default setting for Protected Mode is ''Enabled' and disabling it results in a barrage of very scary warnings that nobody would proceed past.

So, its back in your court... Please do your best to fix this as quickly as possible since according to Google Analytics, 54% of my traffic uses Internet Explorer.

    Thank you,

    Brian

    Thank you for your feedback.

I have tested the slider by disabling and enabling the protected mode in IE but for me it did not seem to make any difference. I will forward your message to the devs so they can investigate it further to see if there is any relation to the protected mode.
