Limited availability during the holidays

I read in the forum that to remove the white space above the slider I need to update. I updated to version 6 and there is still a white space above the slider. How do I remove this white space around the slider?
Update: I resolved this issue by switching to text in page editor and deleting everything infront of the layerslider code. There was a text align infront of it.
