trying to create an automatic cross dissolve between these three slides. i have the slide #2 image below the slide #1 image i slide#1. As the slide#1 image begins to fade, it shows the layer beneath, slide #2 image. then there is a transtion to slide #2 is invisible. Is this the best way to do it? I want 4 seconds, then next slide, then third slide and loop forever. Is this posssible?

Are you essentially trying to keep the content layers (such as the text and other elements) fixed in place, while only the background images continuously crossfade in a loop?

The text is unchanged from slide to slide. Only the image crossfades.
I tried to make the text a forever item, but it seems that forever items are always placed underneath items that are part of only that slide so my text would always be below the image. So each slide has the duplicated text. Is there a solve?
