    In 2018 I bought Wordpress, which came with Layer Slider. A few days ago I saw that I needed to update my plugin. I was not succesfull, so as suggested I bought the new version. But now I think it is not fair because it has always been included in my Wordpress package ! Can I cancel my Subscription ? And if I do so, what are the consequences for the website ?

    Thank you for your message.

    LayerSlider is often bundled with WordPress themes, but those bundled versions are usually managed by the theme author and can be more limited than a direct LayerSlider license. With a direct license/subscription, you receive updates directly from us, access to the latest premium features, templates, and support.

    Of course, if you do not wish to keep the subscription, you can cancel it. Canceling the subscription will not remove LayerSlider from your website, and your existing sliders should continue to work. However, after the subscription expires, you will no longer receive plugin updates, new features, premium templates, and direct support connected to that license.

    If you only needed the bundled theme version, you may also want to check with your theme author, as they are responsible for providing updates for the version included with your WordPress/theme package.

    Thank you very much for your reply. It was very clear. I would like to cancel the subscription, as it is part of my theme package and I have other free options. I assume that I cannot cancel immediately, as I have already paid for this year. Or can I get a refund of the amount paid?
