I am testing new pages for this licensed site on a development clone of the site. The dev site URL is: https://vwzj51s3kmn.c.updraftclone.com/ One of the tests involves the Layer Slider product on the home page. It is not appearing on the dev site. I see in your FAQ that it is possible to test these features on a development site, which is exactly what I need to do. How do you get this development site whitelisted so that I can test the slider changes?
LayerSlider recognizes commonly used subdomains and domains for development/staging purposes, and these won’t count against your license activation. You can find the full list of accepted staging domains and subdomains here:
Typical examples are subdomains like dev, test, local, stage, staging, etc.
Please note that in your case the current staging address https://vwzj51s3kmn.c.updraftclone.com/ is not considered a typical staging subdomain, so it may not be recognized automatically.
Thank you for your reply. I saw your documentation, but was questioning the 4th bullet in the list of accepted examples:
is on a whitelist (e.g. *.staging.wpengine.com)
I didn't know if you have an internal "whitelist" of Wordpress staging sites, like the one I use for a dev site: updraftclone.com
I have now moved my mirror/dev/staging version to https://itproworx.com/staging Hopefully this will comply with your rules and be recognized automatically. If not, I'll have to replace your layerslider product with another 3rd party plugin that will allow me to continue working on the development site without this slider problem.
If LayerSlider does not automatically recognize https://itproworx.com/staging as a development/staging site, please let us know, and we will definitely find a solution for this.
