I am not sure if I need this. I had contacted you before but still need more clarification. I went to my website and right clicked to inspect and saw only this:

When I go to my wordpress (attached image) I don't see anything that shows i am using it. I dont want to uninstall just yet until you can help me confirm it is not even being used.

Can you also tell me how to safely uninstall?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Joseph,

Thanks for reaching out, I understand why this is confusing 👍

Based on what you shared, LayerSlider is installed and active on your site. That’s why you can see the LayerSlider meta generator tag and related JavaScript in the page source, even if you’re not actively using any sliders on the frontend or don’t see it referenced in your pages right now.

That said, simply having the plugin installed does not necessarily mean it’s being used anywhere on the site.

    How to safely uninstall LayerSlider

If you decide to remove it, here’s the safe and recommended way:

    1. Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins

    2. Locate LayerSlider

    3. Click Deactivate

    4. Once deactivated, click Delete

This will remove the plugin files from your site.
