Specifically, I am interested in whether this kind of visual appearance and movement behavior (layout, transitions, scrolling/interaction feel) can be achieved using LayerSlider’s standard features.
I have experimented with various settings and configurations, but I haven’t been able to fully reproduce this behavior. Before investing more time, I wanted to ask whether this type of carousel is technically possible with LayerSlider or if there are limitations that prevent a 1:1 recreation.
At the moment, LayerSlider doesn’t offer a true “carousel” feature that can replicate that example 1:1 — especially the continuous, inertia-like scroll/drag feel, the centered snapping behavior, and the specific multi-item layout/looping interaction you see on that page. Those behaviors typically require a dedicated carousel/slider engine built specifically for that interaction model.
With LayerSlider, you can build “carousel-like” visuals (e.g., multiple cards on a slide, scaling/fading the center item, animating between states), but it is tricky and it won’t match that smooth, native carousel interaction and movement behavior as a standard feature.
Hello LayerSlider Support Team,
I have a question regarding the capabilities of LayerSlider when it comes to building a carousel.
I am trying to recreate the appearance and motion of the carousel shown in the following example:
