Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Hi, I have setup a basic slideshow and changed the transition speed etc. For some reason the changed timings is having no effect at all on how long the slides display for? The are changing far too quickly and I cannot seem to slow them down? I  have de-activated all other plugins this has no effect at all so it's not a plugin clash?

Not sure what I am doing wrong here but I have tried everything.

    Kind Regards

    Darren

Hi, don't worry I have sorted it! If anyone else is having this issue at all this is what I did not control the speed of the slides:

Slide (button) / Timing & Transition / Slide Timing: Set to auto and when asked if you want to apply to all slides I said yes because I wanted all of my slides to display for the same amount of time.

Next Open Project Settings and click on Defaults. In the slide duration box enter the time you want to display your slides for (4,000 = 4 seconds for example).

Next close that window and click SAVE then (and this is what threw me!) Click publish. You will get a confirmation message that the updates have been done.

Now check the slideshow and it should be good to go. This is what worked for me but there is probably a better way of doing it but I was hoping that I could save someone a few hours as that is what it took me to figure it out.

    Hi Darren,

You’re absolutely right — clicking Publish is essential if you want your changes to appear on the live site. Hitting Save alone will only apply the changes within the editor for preview and testing purposes. This allows you to safely experiment without affecting the already working slider on your frontend.
