    This is from my webmaster,

    Hi Alan,

    I added the key but the slider is not working, still. I found out that another co. bought it outside of Envato Market, but it claims that it should work as before for existing users, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Could you contact their tech support and tell them that we can't edit an existing slider, I get a blank screen when I click on it or try to create a new slider - they should advise what to do or reimburse you for the update purchase...

    The sooner you contact them, the better - since you purchased the update today!

    Hi Alan,

    It looks like your site is still running LayerSlider version 6.11, which is very outdated and no longer compatible with the latest WordPress and PHP versions. This is why you’re seeing the blank screen issue.

    Please update to the latest release to resolve this. You can do so in one of the following ways:

    1. Automatic update:

      • Go to your WordPress admin → Dashboard → Updates, and look for LayerSlider.

      • If the update doesn’t appear, navigate to LayerSlider → Activation and make sure your license key is activated. Then check again on the Updates page.

       

    2. Manual update:

       

      • Log in to your account at https://account.kreaturamedia.com/ using the email address you used for the purchase.

      • If you’ve never logged in before or haven’t set a password, enter your email address under the “For New Customers” section, and we’ll send you a link to access your account.

      • Download the latest LayerSlider installation package from your account.

      • In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, and upload the downloaded ZIP file to overwrite the old version.

       

    After updating, everything should work as expected again.
