Can not get the maintenance plugin to work up my site. The plugin is active but cannot get it to work. the preview looks good but it don't show on site.
At first sight, I would say that is a caching issue. Please purge/delete all cache files in any cache plugin you are using. That should fix this. If you are using also a css/js merger/minifyer tool, you should temporary disable them before you deleting the cache files.

Ok. I'll send it private. deleted what I was trying to do, so you will have a clean start. My concern is that if putting a simple maintenance page up takes days how long is going to take to make an entire site.
I'm glad, that the maintenance mode works now. The currently used solution not comes from LayerSlider, but from another plugin. If you tried to use multiple plugins in maintenance mode at the same time, this could also have caused the problem of them not working properly.
