Hi, I am using subscription popup, and in email section the input is <input type="email" placeholder="E-mail address">. So what information should I put to get subscriptions sent to my email? To send automatic notification to subscriber, or to integrate this subscription form to other plugins like MailPoet? If you have full guideline for all the possible functions I will appreciate.
Since WordPress unfortunately doesn't offer a standardized way for email signups or handling forms in general, there's no endpoint to which we could connect the form submission. Text fields, checkboxes, and other form elements in templates are for illustration purposes, and we aren't currently offering an email signup service.
Without a standardized way to handle forms, there are simply too many 3rd party plugins, email services, providers, and use cases to provide a universal integration. That's why we recommend external form-building plugins and services that you can embed in sliders and popups. Please note that embedded forms with shortcodes will not appear in the editor/preview admin area; they'll only be visible on the front-end pages. It's also important to paste the shortcode into an HTML layer.
