Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Hi!  I have bought a popup from webworks within the LayerSlider. How do get the filled form to be sent to a specific recipient?

    Hello Tony,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is George and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Since WordPress doesn't offer a standardized way for email signups or handling forms in general, there's no endpoint to which we could connect the form submission. Text fields, checkboxes, and other form elements in templates are for illustration purposes, and we aren't currently offering an email signup service. Without a standardized way to handle forms, there are simply too many 3rd party plugins, email services, providers, and use cases to provide a universal integration. That's why we recommend external form-building plugins and services that you can embed in sliders and popups. Please note that embedded forms with shortcodes will not appear in the editor/preview admin area; they'll only be visible on the front-end pages. It's also important to paste the shortcode into an HTML layer.

    Hi George!

But still … I have bought the popup from your store and there must be some help you can provide.  Its a popup which lets the visitor fill in a form saying that he/she would like go get a cost estimate but … if their response isn’t going anywhere - what’s the point? Its useless. Why buy it at all?

    Hello Tony,

I understand your argument, but LayerSlider is not a form builder plugin. Our templates are mainly about visual content, graphics, effects and animation. To manage a form and/or send an email from it, you will unfortunately need another solution. I am sorry for your inconvenience.

    Hi George!

I see. But still … :-) what's the point with a form popup if you can't send it somewhere? Anyhow … I want to try out the popup-function inside Layerslider instead. Is it possible to embed a ninja form on a layer slider popup and in that case how?

    Thanks

You can use the already built form's shortcode for that. Please note that embedded forms with shortcodes will not appear in the editor/preview admin area; they'll only be visible on the front-end pages. It's also important to paste the shortcode into an HTML layer.
