    Hi.

I haven't used the LayerSlider in a while and, on the other hand, with the new interface where the timeline and keyframes don't appear, I can't make the animation I have planned. Where can I find a general and simple operating guide?

    Any help will be welcome.

    Thank you very much.

    Best regards,

    Ignacio

    Hello Ignacio,

We're in the process of making a series of high-quality and in-depth tutorial videos that we hope we can share very soon. We don't have an ETA yet, but you can expect them in the coming months. At the moment, I'd recommend browsing through our help assets, such as the documentation, interface walkthrough guide, etc.

There were no keyframe animations in LayerSlider. You can add several transitions (opening, ending, loop, hover, etc.) to your layers and you can also set the timing of each of these transitions in the Transition Properties section on the right sidebar. Then, by using the timeline view, you can see the whole timeline and you can drag the playhead to any position to check the layers at that time.

    Oops!

I have purchased 3 LayerSilider Pro licenses and I am going crazy... Unlike previous versions, the interface and the plugin are not at all intuitive and I don't know how to make even the simplest Slider.

I can't find any Overview tutorial or introduction to how the plugin works.

    Help please!

    Any help will be welcome.

    Thank you so much.

    Best regards.

    Hi again.

What I see is that you offer a lot of templates to use, but it is very difficult to do a job from scratch, and you don't offer guidance on this in your documentation.

    Hello Ignacio,

The current interface is not so different than it was in LayerSlider 6. We've only reorganized and added a dark color to the GUI.

On the left sidebar, you can see the layers of the current slide. On the right sidebar, there are two tabs on the top: Slide and Layers. Under Slide, you can find the current slide settings (transition, timings, etc.), and under Layers, you can find all the layer properties (including transitions) of the selected layer(s). All the settings are grouped - style, transitions, actions, etc - so you have to find the setting you are looking for exactly where you would be looking anyway. I recommend you download a simple template - like Simple Slider, for example - and click through the interface to see which layer has which settings applied.

    Hello George.

I had seen everything you told me, thank you very much.

What I don't know is how to apply a static time to an element after the in transition and then apply an out transition to it. I was used to doing this on the timeline.

    Thank you so much.

    Best regards,

    Ignacio

It is very easy: After you've set the opening transition, please go to ending transition by using the transition selector. Then, scroll down to Transition properties and set the "Start when" setting to "Opening Transition completes" and set the static value to the modifier (for example 2000 for 2 seconds) which means that the ending transition for this layer will start exactly 2 seconds after the opening transition has been ended.
