Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I'm trying to mak a simple fade in and fade out images with Play-by-Scroll on layer slider but I want the images to stay in place like sticky until the last slide ends. The demo templates has too many layers of settings that I don't need so it's actually taking longer to create this simple slide from the demos. Can you guide me through this process or have a simple template that I can use?
Hello Seiko,
Unfortunately, the Play-By-Scroll feature of LayerSlider is deprecated so you cannot create a new Play-By-Scroll slider. We introduced Scroll Scene that is a replacement of Play-By-Scroll and it works much more precisely.
Under Project Settings -> Layout, you can set a slider to Scroll Scene, which works almost the similar way as Play-By-Scroll. Then, if you create a layer by the default opening transition (which a simple "fading in") you will see in project preview that you should scroll down ur up to play the transition of the layers forwards / backwards.

Thank you so much for your prompt response! I'm glad there was another way to achieve similar result and that it wasn't completely taken away. Thank you for explaining it to me. I understand how it works now and I think I can make it work. I really appreciate your time.
