I love the LayerSlider and made a purchase yesterday. Having unzipped the package and gone through its features, I have a few questions to ask.
1) Activation
Do I need to activate the plugin before I can use it? If so, how?
2) Site / Domain binding
I have purchased a personal version, which allows me to use it on one domain only. How does it work in my case?
3) Project Editor
According to the production description and/or documentation on your site, there should be a visual editing tool, namely the 'Project Editor' available to facilitate the slider editing process. However, I have not found the installable in the zipped download file. Did I miss something?
The jQuery version cannot be activated and unfortunately the Project Editor is available only for the WordPress version as we've tried to indicate it on our website.
I would suggest you to purchase the WordPress version. Of course you will need a WP page (or a local server with a WP install) to use LayerSlider for WordPress. But without a WordPress site, you unfortunately cannot use the Project Editor.
I got the message. In order to use the visual editing tool, I would have to purchase a WP version, despiting the fact that I only need the Jquery version. Would it be easier and fairer to provide an online editing tool in the user account portal regardless of the LayerSlider version?
The questions still remain even if I decide to purchase the WP version just for the sake of the visual editing tool,
1) How does the slide editing & exporting work?
2) Is the WP version editor compatible with the JQuery version?
" Would it be easier and fairer to provide an online editing tool in the user account portal regardless of the LayerSlider version?" Unfortunately, no. We have thousands of users and we would not be able to provide enough storage for all sliders to all of our users.
1. You can easily export the finished project to HTML. 2. The exported sliders (with the latest features) will work with the jQuery version.

Hi George,
If I do need the visual editing tool to make the editing job easier, what would you suggest?
Kind regards
James
