Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I'm wondering if my installation is broken. I can't see any of the options for the timeline of layers. I don't see a place to input any login info in this ticket for you to be able to view my site in wp-admin.
Help would be much appreciated.

So, I basically can't figure out how to access timeline view.
Also, I can't seem to figure out how to add a keyframe in the transitions section.
Figured out how to enter timeline view under Preview. I still can't understand how to use any of the basic features of setting up the timings of layers and how to add intermediate keyframes during the slide. Is there a video that walks through these basics? I somehow did all of this many years ago, but can't figure out any of the tools now.
Hello Camineet,
I'm sorry you're having trouble using LayerSlider. There are no Keyframes. You can set several type of transitions to your layers. These transitions can be selected on the right sidebar under Layers -> Transition and then use the Transition Selector.
After you've selected the transition you would like to set, you can find the transition options on the right sidebar such as transformation, timing, etc.

Hi George, let me make sure we're talking about the same thing. I want to know if there's a way to have a layer transition into the slide, and then move a little bit left or right before the slide transitions out to the next slide. You can see this kind of movement in slider revolution that I have set up here:
You can see that the textbox on the right comes into the slide. Then it moves a little bit to the right. Then the slide exits. Can Layerslider do this?
Oh, that makes sense now - thank you for the video :-)
So, first of all you will need to set the opening transition for that text box. I recommend you to enter the right keyword to the Offset X field and you can disable the Fade effect.
After that, please select Loop/Middle transition and enable it. You can configure this transition to play when opening transition has been ended and you can set unique transform properties, for example to move the layer to the right by X pixels.
Of course you can set the timings and everything you need for the proper transitions.
