I had a free version of Layerslider WP that came with a theme that i bought from Envato. I have a basic managed site from Godaddy. This morning when i went to open my slider to edit it, it hung and would not open...I then purchased the paid version of the plugin to see if that would fix it....same issue.

Please empty/purge all cache files in any cache plugins you are using. That should solve your issue.
