Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Sorry for the short description, but I was in a hurry. Here's additional info:

I'm using Layerslider popups to display a list of chapters in my travel blog. It has worked fine for most sections (=countries traveled in) but now I've faced a problem I can't solve. One popup list displays one ore more lines of text randomly picked from another popup. The links associated with each line works, but the incorrect texts cannot be changed. I've purged cache everywhere and updated the database, but the faulty texts are not replaced. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello Lars,

It's almost certainly caused by a localization solution or caching issue. If you use a plugin like WPML, Polylang, or another translation solution, please visit their String Translation or similarly named section. LayerSlider automatically registers content in your projects when you use these plugins, and then you need to manage their translations there. While WPML supports a "needs translation" state, therefore it's not a prominent issue there, but Polylang doesn't have this state and requires you to always keep translations up-to-date. This, sadly, comes with the issue you've just described, even if you haven't translated any slider content before. It's how Polylang works, and similar plugins can have this behavior as well.

Yes! That was exactly the problem, Polylang had tons of incorrect translations, removing them all + correcting one single translation made everything work just fine. Thank you so much!
