You must add a custom ID or CLASS name to your button, for example id="custom-button-id", and in the Project Settings, under Layout / Popup / Launch Popup you should specify that custom selector which will trigger the popup by click. I've attached a screenshot about this. Of course, you should also embed the popup to your page where the button is.
In the popup, create a dynamic layer, set the size, style and transition and add your calendar shortcode into the text field under the Layers / Content menu (in the right sidebar).
