Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I am trying to set up some basic video slides that have smooth fade transitions so they are seamless, but am having trouble. First, I have four different videos. I created one slide for each video and added the video as a layer in each slide. I am using the crossfade transition for each slide.

The issue I am having is that when previewing, the transition is not smooth at all. For some reason at the end of each video/slide, a white flash happens then a screen shot of the slide again, then it goes to the next slide /video.

How can I make is so that each slide  simply fades into the next without separation, white screen or image flashing before the transition.

    Hello Corey,

I would recommend you to use these videos as background videos and add a custom slide duration to your slides. In this case, the transition should be seamless.

Thanks for the reply. How would I do that? I am only seeing options for a background image or color, not video.

    Hello Corey,

First, please select the video layer, go to Layers -> Content, scroll down to Media Options and enable the Background Video option. In this case, the video will automatically cover the full slider as a slide background.

Then, go to Slide -> Timing & Transition and add a specified number to the duration under Slide Timing (in ms).

One last question, thanks. If I set them as backgrounds, is there a way to adjust their positions in the frame of the slide for example to make sure the top of the video is visible? Otherwise I have to display the full height/dimension of the video and not really wanting to do that as it makes the slide go "below the fold" on larger resolution screens.

Here is an the display( https://angelbeautyhaus.com/) in question and you can see how the slides flash before going to the next slide. I am actually zooming in on the layers so the faces are more close up on a couple of them. Here is how they are needing to be as backgrounds as you suggested for smoother transitions. https://angelbeautyhaus.com/demo/  as you can see the display has to be much taller to get the portion of the video I need to be seen, but in this version i cannot zoom in more on their faces. In an ideal world I would be bale to get the first option to smooth transition like the second option.

    Hello Corey,

I understand what would you need but unfortunately in the current version these are the options to handle videos. We will consider to extend video layers' functionality in the future to fit more your needs.
