Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Any layer slider on my site has the same problem: all the text and buttons are the wrong size (giant), have improper placement, and overlap each other instead of displaying cleanly and neatly as they used to. It seems almost to be an issue with responsiveness, but the problem is the same on desktop and mobile.
Issue visible on areas such as main header here: https://www.didasdistillery.com/
In each layerslider on the site, especially obvious on this page here: https://www.didasdistillery.com/spirits/
Hello Allan,
As I can see, the font-sizes are set in percentage values on the layers in question. That's really strange, because in the LayerSlider project editor there is no option for using percentage values at font-size property. Maybe another plugin can cause this strange issue.

Thank you - I didn't even think about that. You're right; it was another plugin. The offender was "WP ADA Compliance Check," which is subscription-based and had expired - I guess that when the bill wasn't paid, the plugin defaulted to a state that intentionally disables some formatting controls to encourage ongoing payment. Disabled it, and everything looks great!
Found another issue though. When you go to the main home page (www.didasdistillery.com) -- the slides aren't fully clearing and refreshing, but instead begin to layer atop each other. For example, the blue "shop online for pickup" button on the first slide remains and stays on the second slide, even though inside the editor there is no such object. And as the slides progress, text and other artifacts remain from previous slides and begin to overlap and stack up.
Hello Allan,
Please ensure that all the layers have an Ending Transition so they can move out of the scene on slide change. The old behavior was a bug in LayerSlider that version 7.5 addressed. Layers must have an Ending Transition; otherwise, they will act as static layers. You can easily multi-select all layers on slides and enable their Ending Transition in a single step.
