Hi, have tour package theme installed with a very old version of layerslider and decided to buy the license. I'm trying to create a new project but after saving and publishing the project it disappears and I can't create a new project.

    can you please help?

    Hi Rui,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John, and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working toward your ticket.

Please open System Status and check whether it shows any errors. Also, please click on the Update Database button since the issue you're experiencing is likely a database-related problem. The update shouldn't cause such an issue, and the new version is backward compatible. Sometimes, depending on your site and server configuration, automated update scripts cannot run in the background, which would ensure a seamless experience, but the Update Database option should help.

    Hi,

    already can create projects.

The big problem right now is the performance. On our website (palmayachts.com) every time I activate the layerslider plugin on wordpress with only one photo the performance of the website drops to BAD on all metric systems. What do you recommend us to do to speedup layerslider?

    Thanks,

    Rui

Can you please explain what performance test and metrics you are referring to? Does the site feels slow, or are you using synthetic benchmarks like Google's PageSpeed Insights? Synthetic tests tend to provide lower or even bad scores for dynamic content like a slider. For me, apple.com scores 24 for mobile, while youtube.com scores 31 points out of 100. It's easy to see that they aren't too reliable when you test fast and trusted sites that also receive bad scores. While it can be useful, the results need some expertise to filter out false positives.
