Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Hi, I am making a slider for a client and i run in to a problem, i have some pages of the slider with a video in webm hosted by my webhost , the slider works fine but the video plays only on some devices and on others you get just a black screen, i tried different formats like mp4 , i tried different hosts, and i tried with youtube, the only one working everywhere is the youtube link but is playing pretty slow and bad quality, do you have any idea what could cause this? thanks in advance, here are some of the link that i am testing

    Hello Silla,

Unfortunately, not all browsers and devices are supporting all video formats. I would recommend you to use MP4 format with H.264+MP3/AAC codec.

You can learn more about video issues/compatibility in our documentation: https://layerslider.com/documentation/#troubleshooting-video

I've checked both URLs ( www.icelandupdate.com & www.murogmal.is/slideshow/ ) in Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and on iPad. For me, the videos are playing on all devices/browsers without any issues. Could you, please provide me more information about this issue? On what device/browser are you experiencing this problem?
