When I try to install the installable zip it get "500 Internal Server Error". Please advise. Thank you

I'd recommend contacting them and asking to raise the limit. You can also ask them to check the PHP error logs to uncover any other reasons, if there are any.
Alternatively, you can install LayerSlider manually by unpacking the installable ZIP file and uploading the extracted LayerSlider folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory on your server. To do that, you can use an FTP application as well as any file manager that your web hosting may provide. For more information, please refer to our documentation.
