I'm trying to make my slide both full width (touching the left and right edges of the window) and responsive at the same time no matter how much the window is squashed or stretched. When I try Full Width mode in the Project Settings it works perfectly when the window width is smaller than the image, but when it's larger it doesn't follow.
When I try Responsive mode, the image width follows along with the window perfectly when both smaller and larger, but there is an undesired white gap on both the left and right sides, and the image is not touching the edge of the window. I've tried many different combinations of settings in both the image slide and the project settings, but I can't seem to find the right combination.
I see... but the problem with this solution is that I want to make the layer act as a picture frame for content underneath, so it needs to be on top of the other layers.
I've updated my site to show you exactly what I'm trying to do. I would like to turn that, into something like this:
And when I hit the next slide button (About Us etc) I want it to behave in the same way. That's why it seemed like an image layer would work better than a slide background.
I see, but the problem with the "picture frame" is, that this is an image with an exact size (width / height) and if you resize the browser and it becomes very wide, the frame will be stretched. I would use the top logo and text in separate layers and I would build the "frame" from layers that can resize well.
Yes... The Logo, the text, and the middle (menu) bar will each become their own layers. I just included them to help give you a better picture of things. It's the frame part that I want to touch the edges with no gaps, and underneath that will be a slide show of the "latest news". What would be the best way to achieve it with these things in mind?
I would choose the full-width (or full-size) layout, and I would set the layer properties with the bottom shapes (the "triangles" which would cover the bottom of the slider) as you can see on the attached screenshot.

Hello,
If you use full width layout type, please add your image as a slide background image, not as an image layer. That will solve your issue.
