Currently, customers and paying users of Layered Slider cannot load custom fonts from their server with LayerSlider.
It's only a temporal workaround that LayerSlider can use them if they were already loaded. So, kreatura recommends using a WordPress custom font loader (for example, https://hu.wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/) to load own fonts into the WordPress admin.
My demand in a user story:
"As a paying customer in the role of a word press admin using layer slider I expect layer slider to use own server fonts within the slider usage so that I do not need extra plugins for that workaround and so that german legacy restrictions are fullfilled using google fonts being loaded from my own server."
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John, and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
We definitely want to add the option to use locally hosted custom fonts in a future update. We don't yet have an exact ETA, but it's on our short-term roadmap. Our next update will likely also include a feature that lists the fonts loaded by third parties, so it's easier to select and use them even if they aren't coming from LayerSlider.
