Just purchased a theme from Aislin and after the installation the LayerSlayer is not displaying. I'm not able to select it from the dropdown on the home page and I'm not seeing any projects show up on the Admin/LayerSlayer page. I'm not getting a response from the Aislin support. I've paid for the lastest LayerSlayer hoping it would solve the issue. I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction. I think I need to import a project but I'm not sure what the file I'm looking for is called or located.

If the former, please share with us the URL where the slider should be, and we'll investigate what the issue can be.
If the latter, please tell us what embed method you're trying to use. You've mentioned a dropdown menu, but it's not clear what you've referred to. LayerSlider supports shortcodes, widgets, and page builders, among other options. Your WordPress theme might also have its own alternative option to select sliders. I'd recommend trying another embed method if that doesn't work correctly.
You also mentioned that you don't see any LayerSlider projects in the admin area. If that's not normal and you've previously created projects, I recommend checking System Status and pressing the UPDATE DATABASE button. If you're new to LayerSlider, you can import templates to explore the plugin or just simply create a new project and start building your own content.
Thanks for your reply. I'm currently running my website at home on a raspberry pi computer with no external access. I've install wordpress along with a theme. The theme is giving me an error on the main home page:
"The project cannot be found Please make sure that you’ve used the right shortcode or method to embed the project, and check if the corresponding project exists and it wasn’t deleted previously."
When I edit the home page there is a widget called Layer Slider. If click the edit icon I get a popup called Layer Slider Settings. There is a dropdown list box called Layer Slider ID but there isn't anything in the dropdown list box to select.
From the admin page after the Settings page there is a page called LayerSlider. It has the option of creating a new project but because this is a completed Theme I'm assuming there should be project already there for me to edit.
I thought maybe the problem could be fixed if I bought the latest LayerSlider version. I'm very new to wordpress and I'm trying to figure this out this as I go. My sense is that the problem isn't so much with the LayerSlider as with the installation of the Theme. Any help or clues as to the problem would be greatly appreciated.
It would seem that you or someone else had already added a LayerSlider widget to your homepage, but you don't yet have any projects built with LayerSlider. That's why the dropdown list doesn't show any options to choose from. You can either remove the widget, and the notification will disappear, or you can start building a project, which will be available in the dropdown list to choose from.
Your theme likely doesn't come with pre-built LayerSlider projects, but in some cases, they offer demos, and we also offer importable templates. It's normal that you don't yet have any projects.
