Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is George and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
Could you please tell me more information about this issue? On which slides did you add mobile-only layers? On the third slide I've seen some and they worked for me.
The site uses WPBakery Page Builder. I just bought the plugin earlier this week.
I used one of your templates :
Photo Studio By Kreatura
I noticed that when I previewed the project for mobile, it displayed like a full screen and I had to do a totally different set of layers that were set to mobile only.
After we published the slider, when I view the site on a mobile device, it shows a small rectangle instead of the preview fro the layerslider editor.
I've logged in to your admin page and was able to check your slider. As I can see, the first slide has desktop-only layers, the second slide has two mobile device layers, and on the third slide you have many layers which are disabled on all device types, so they won't be visible at all. Please check the device visibility of those layers: https://layerslider.com/documentation/#builder-layer-devices
We deliberately hid some layers because the client did not want them in the presentation and I don't like to delete anything.
Something has changed.
Previously, if you 'previewed' the project as mobile, it showed as a tall rectangle. But when you view the live page on a mobile device, it's only a small rectangle
This is NOT how it looked when we opened a support ticket. Was there and update in the last week?
No, we didn't change anything regarding to that. Maybe you are using a cache plugin or simply your browser did cache a previous version...? This can be the reason.
I added mobile-only visible text layers and images; they worked in preview; but not on the live site.

Does that help?
Could you, please create me a temporary wp-admin access with admin rights? I would like to check the settings of the slider / layers.
