Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
Can you please provide us with more information about the issue you're experiencing? Do you have difficulties installing/updating the plugin? Any and all information you can tell us can help.
I migrated my site to a new host. But my slide did not work on the new site. So I reinstalled the plugin and migrated my layerslide files. Now I have 2 layerslider folders 1 is Layerslider and the other is Layerslider_ and I do not see the slide I created. Plugs says no slides.
Your sliders and settings are stored in the database, as well as your media uploads (images, videos, etc.) Copying the plugin files alone won't move your projects over to the new site. You also need to migrate the database or use LayerSlider's export and import feature. This latter option is probably the most easiest and convenient for most people.
Also, please note that having two copies of LayerSlider in your /wp-content/plugins/ folder can lead to issues. It's also important to have the proper plugin folder name, which uses the capitalized LayerSlider name.
slide not migrating
