Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Layslider not working after update

    Hi,
    Having the same issue with Layslider as I had last Dec.  We apply updates to our site.  Plugins and WordPress.  All apply successfully but the layslider does not work.
    We are hosted on WPEngine.  Our side is now of WordPress 6.0 and Layslider ver 7.2.3.  
    The PHP is still ver 7.4.  If I upgrade to 8.0 the whole site stops working.  May or may not be related to layslider or some other plug in.  
    Help will be appreciated.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Andrea, and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

    LayerSlider has supported the PHP 8 since the 6.11.3 release (Jan 25, 2021), so it shouldn't cause your whole site stops working.

    I suggest you disable all installed plugins before updating the PHP version on your site. After the updating, please enable them one by one. So you can detect if there is a plugin that can't work correctly with the new version.
