First af all, thank you for a great tool! I really love Layer Slider and all the creative posibilities it gives.
I hope you can help me with following:
I got notification on Layer Slider dashboard in Wordpress that I can update to version 7.2.3
However, when I press "Install now" I get following notification: "
Aw, Snap!
Something went wrong and WordPress was not able to update LayerSlider. This is likely a temporary issue, and you should try again a bit later.
In the meantime, you can force WordPress to re-check and verify updates by visiting Dashboard → Updates. The new version of LayerSlider can be installed there as well. That screen might also offer additional information on what the issue can be.
Thank you for your kinds words, we really appreciate it! My name is John and I'm happy to assist you today.
As I can see, you're using Enfold, which loads LayerSlider in a non-standard way. The solution is to install the official release separately, and Enfold will detect its presence and disable its own built-in version.
Please log in to your account, and download LayerSlider. No registration is needed, you can log in with the email address used for the purchase. Then, you can proceed with the installation as you would normally do. After that, you'll have the most recent version installed, and you will be able to update without any issue in the future.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
No, your sliders and settings are stored in the database, so you don't have to worry about losing them. They will remain still and will be there once you've installed the new version.

Hi John
Thanks for fast response.
Will I loose my current slides if I install the release seperately?

Søren
