Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I already have the layerslider plugin for my website but it wasn't updating so I did the purchase and now super confused how to get it updated. The video tutorial is all about installing it to Wordpress but I already had it just needed to pay for it now. I don't want to uninstall or deactivate since it is already linked with my website for fear of something happening to my website. I don't want o mess anything up and need to get it updated. I should also mention I'm a massage therapist with very little clue to Wordpress and most things computer. I'm trying no to screw anything up

    Dear Patti,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John, and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Please read the Updating the plugin section of our documentation. In short: in your WordPress admin area, please navigate to LayerSlider and enter your license key in the Product Activation / License Registration box. Then navigate to Dashboard → Updates, and WordPress will automatically find new updates and offer you to install them.

You can also manually update the plugin by downloading the most recent version from your account, then just install it like you would on a clean website. WordPress will automatically offer you to replace the plugin with the new version. Your sliders and settings are stored in the database. They will remain intact even if you temporarily delete the plugin.

    Best Regards,
