I wanted to use a template, but when I go to the templates page, it says they are unavailable.
I just installed the plugin with my Avada theme and the templates are not working. I checked the system status and have all green, except for WP Optimize, which I deactivated with no effect. I added an image of the error.
This is likely a server configuration issue. It seems LayerSlider cannot connect to our online services to download the list of templates. It's possible that it will affect other parts of the plugin as well.
You mentioned that you've checked the system status. There should be an entry called "WP Remote functions", which should indicate such an issue.
It's almost certain that the web hosting provider should enable external connections or whitelist the repository.kreaturamedia.com domain name in the firewall and similar places.
There's also a possibility of another issue, so if you could set up a temporary WP admin access to us, we'd look around to make sure we got this right.
This issue is independent of Cloudflare. To load the templates, your site (server) should be able to connect to our server directly.
Please, contact your web hosting provider: they should enable external connections or whitelist the repository.kreaturamedia.com domain name in the firewall and similar places.
I've logged into your wp-admin and I've tried to refresh the templates/search for LayeSlider plugin updates while I was watching the requests on our server. No request was received from your domain/IP address. That's why I think that this should be an issue on your hosting side.
Did the template store work ever on this domain before?
No it has not and that concerns me.. I will talk with GoDaddy. I will also check for any plugin issues. This is the only time this has happened in my experience with layerslider.
I'm going to do a fresh install for this dev site and move the license. maybe I just have a bad WordPress install.
Hi George. I recreated thew WordPress install and everything works great now. It was something with the WP database being messed up. Thank you for your help.
