Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
When I head to Tablet or Mobile View in the Editor, nothing happens. Are there any settings that I need to change or is it simply not working? I see from tutorials that there should be a frame adapting to the respective device you are working on, but the editor simply doesn't do anything neither is it showing any reason why it is not working.
Accordingly, it just shrinks the slider and the text becomes tiny on smartphone screens. Being used working with Elementor, I don't quite understand why this is so complicated :)
Kind regards,
Johanna
Hi Johanna,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is George, and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
LayerSlider offers support for devices-specific layers. It means that you can add multiple layers and show them only on the selected devices. By using different layers for different devices, you can create text layers with different sizes or even different (less) content for mobile devices.
So, for example, you can make a layer for desktop, then duplicate it to have a good starting point, then alter the copy to your liking, and make it display only on mobile devices. Simultaneously, you can set the desktop version to be visible only on desktop (and optionally tablet) devices. This way you have separate layers for two separate views.
The device chooser on the top menu bar basically controls which view you're seeing. It dynamically hides/shows layers based on their visibility and selected devices.
Best Regards,
George | Kreatura Dev Team
