Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John, and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

As you can see on the first screenshot, the project "Home" has a yellow floppy icon next to its name. This indicates that it's a draft that hasn't been published yet. Drafts are a new feature in LayerSlider 7, and not all 3rd parties have updated their integration yet, including the page builder module/widget you're using. It's maintained by the author of the page builder, so we cannot do much about it.

However, this is more of a cosmetic issue only. Everything should work under the hood, including the new draft system. Only the project name can have a discrepancy while the page builder author updates their integration. Once you publish your project, its name will also be reflected in all places.

Ok, but I now face another issue. I deleted all the sliders I had originally created, and started with a new one called "Home". It worked as expected. I then created a new slider called "process" (this was not a duplicate), and added that to the correct page. The Issue now is that the Home page is now showing the "process" slider rather than the "home" slider, even though I have selected "home" as the slider. So regardless how many new sliders I create and select for individual pages, only the process slider appears. Very frustrating as I'm on a deadline and my client is freaking out. Any other suggestions?

It seems you use the words "slides" and "slider" interchangeably, so I'm not entirely sure what happens and what would be the expected result. It would be a great help if you could clarify that.

Nevertheless, if it's something about slides, I'd check the Project Settings → Slideshow → Start With Slide option to see if there's an override on the starting slide.

If it's something about sliders (projects), please make sure to empty any caches there may be present on your site. Caching plugins such as WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, and similar can prevent you seeing live results.

In any case, please make sure to publish your changes if you haven't done it already. Saving your work will only create a draft in the editor, but those changes won't show up on front-end pages until you publish them.

Thank you for the clarification and the login details, Dave. It was extremely helpful.

I've managed to solve the issue by selecting another project, then re-selecting the HOME project again from the dropdown list. It seems like there was a minor glitch in Enfold's page builder, and for some reason, a (possibly previous) selection was stuck. At least that's my theory why a simple re-selection would solve that.

I'll contact the Enfold team and ask them to look into this issue and also update their integration.

Before the solution, I also experimented with adding a simple text widget and pasting the appropriate shortcode there. That worked as expected, so you can use that as well if you ever experience this issue again. I've noticed that Enfold's special LayerSlider page builder Element forces sliders to use a full-width layout. If you want to mimic that, you can enable it in the Project Settings of the appropriate LayerSlider project.
