Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

We want to update the plugin, but we obtain this issue(Aw, Snap!Something went wrong and WordPress was not able to update LayerSlider. This is likely a temporary issue, and you should try again a bit later. In the meantime, you can force WordPress to re-check and verify updates by visiting Dashboard → Updates. The new version of LayerSlider can be installed there as well. That screen might also offer additional information on what the issue can be.)

We have not the last version of wordpress, becouse we had problem with your plugin, and your colleage, suggested us tu return the hold version of wordpress.

How we con update the plugin?

    Hi Mercurio,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John, and I'm happy to assist you today.

These issues are usually the signs of an interfering plugin/theme. Since many WordPress themes offer and bundle LayerSlider, theme authors might want to handle plugin updates on their own, and their implementation of serving plugin updates can interfere with ours. If that's the case, there's little we can do from our side other than contacting the theme author and finding a solution together.

Have you tried again installing the update from the Dashboard -> Updates screen as suggested in the error message?

Also, I'm not sure what was the previous issue, and why would we recommend not updating WordPress. LayerSlider is compatible with all recent versions of WordPress. However, this wouldn't cause an issue like the one you're experiencing right now.

You can always opt for updating the plugin manually as an immediate solution while we find the source of the issue.

    Best Regards,
