Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

    Hi Matt,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is John, and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

This is likely due to the missing PHP ZipArchive extension. This is a package that can be installed on the server that hosts your website. It should be installed by default, but some hosting companies exclude it. Please reach out to your host and ask them to install the PHP ZipArchive extension. Please note, this is NOT the same as the PEAR project's similarly named package called "Archive_ZIP".

Due to cases like this, we're also moving away from relying on this extension, and we'll look into what we can do on our part in future LayerSlider releases. Thank you for your understanding!

    thanks john - that worked.

I am trying to embed gravity form on the pop up but when I use an HTML element and put in the form short code I am getting an error saving?

Is the HTML element capable of handling shortcode? or is there another way I need to embed a form in the pop up?

    Thanks!

That's very strange. This shouldn't happen, and I'm not sure what can cause it. It seems like a web server configuration issue, which can be tricky to debug. You can either ask your host to look into it based on the PHP and web server log files, or I can log into your site if you provide a temporary WP admin access. For the latter, I'd also need to have the WP debug mode enabled, so I can see potential error messages.

I see that you did not enable the WP Debug Mode yet, but I thought I would try to see how the issue can be reproduced. For me, it seems to be working fine. I was able to add the same shortcode to your project that you showed on the screenshot. Can you please check it if everything's the way you wanted?

    hi john -

how do you see it working? I see the code in the HTML element but when I preview the project it only spits out the shortcode instead of the form. *See image

    thanks

    Hi Matt,

Shortcodes will only be replaced with the actual content on your front-end pages. That's normal that the preview only shows the shortcode. I thought the problem was a saving issue. That's what I meant when I said it appears to be working fine.
