Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Hi there, I am building a website using layerslider as a main feature on each page..  I am having some difficulty in getting layerslider to display the different slides I want on each page of my Wordpress site.

When I edit the page and try to select a different project than the home page it changes the homepage image as well even if I select a different project.,

Its odd as it seems to be doing it on some pages but not all. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Pedro,

What method and page builder are you using to embed projects to your pages?

Elementor and Gutenberg modules offer a way to set your starting slide. The native WordPress widget also supports this functionality as well as shortcodes. For shortcodes, it's a less visible feature, but here's an example:

    [layerslider id="1" firstslide="2"]

You might want to consider disabling the slideshow with the Project Settings -> SlideShow -> Auto-start Slideshow option if you want to embed a single project to multiple websites with their corresponding slides.

If you're using different projects (instead of slides in the same project) on each page, it should be a straightforward thing. I'm not sure why or how embedding a project would affect other pages. It might be related to a cache plugin or the embed method. To test this theory, please temporarily disable other plugins or try embedding projects with a different method. WordPress themes often offer their own custom solution embedding sliders that might not work as expected in some cases, so exploring other options can be very helpful to understand what's happening under the hood.
