Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

at the url https://ricb1.sg-host.com/ i have a video, a shape, some text and the text with a number.

its the text with a number i would like to figure out how a non savvy client could easily change.

so ideally he could change it without trying to figure out layerslider, but perhaps enter it somewhere else, in a post or from a url with a form? any ideas?

    thanks so much!

    Hello Ed,

If I understand well, there is someone who should update that number from time to time but not inside LayerSlider (with the LayerSlider editor) but an easier way?

yes exactly. i am examining the use of the dynamic type inside a shape. I will put the shape on the website so you can see it, and maybe you can think of something. I like the idea of having the use of some thing in say a post of a particular category, where the excerpt could be used? the post itself may not need to be visible to the public? what is the possible use of a meta fieldname? and example? I learned i can use the excerpt from a post. this is really great!

everthing is working ok, figured out most of it...i will ask again to close this ticket, i have another question.

is there a way to lock elements  ( like shapes ) to its background graphic, so when the background image is moved, these shapes move also? and is there a way to copy more than one element and paste them elsewhere? thanks

    Hello Ed,

You cannot lock layers to each other but you can easily copy and paste transition properties. So for example, if you have a layer in the background with an ending transition, you can copy that transition and paste the properties to another layer's ending transition, as you can see on the attached screenshot #1.

You can select multiple elements/layers at once by holding the CTRL or CMD (if you have a Mac) key while clicking on the layers in the preview area or in the layers list.
