How can I edit a layer in version 7? I want to have a bird fly from left to the middle of the screen. In and out should fade in and fade out. I see the timeline is only preview and doesn't have an editor mode. I am used to video editor timelines where you have an in and out. You work with keyframes. But I can't find this in the new version. Also there is no mentioning in the support doc's.
First, select the layer, then click on LAYERS menu in the upper right corner, then select TRANSITIONS submenu and you can find the transition settings sections in the sidebar. You can choose another transition by clicking on the blue OPENING TRANSITION menu (see on the attached screenshot). I hope this helps.
But here I can’t see an in and out point. So say I want your bird coming in from the left top corner and go to the center at the end. How would your settings be then? I think I not seeing something. So just tell a stupid person how to do it and I will have the aaaahhhaaaa moment :-)
Please check the attached screenshot, I highlighted the parts. Your request is very easy: put your birdie to the center of the canvas, then set left / top in the offset fields. You can modify the default transition duration as well or add many other transformations as well.
Ok, got that. How can I let the bird disappear at the end of its animation. There is a flying bird and at the end it will be a sitting in place bird. Is it possible to have some kind of fade out fade in swap within one layer?
We are happy to help if there is any problem with the plugin, but unfortunately we cannot help you with slider building in such detail. You should set an ending transition, where you can use the offset values to disappear the layer.
