My license key for LayerSlider WP will not activate in the "Church & Event" premium WP theme hosted by GoDaddy.
I get an error message that is puzzling to me and to the GoDaddy help folks.

1. Is this problem a server-related issue with GoDaddy?
2. Does the premium WordPress theme (i.e. "Church & Event") we have purchased have a problem?

With the help of a GoDaddy hosting tech who looked at the premium theme's line-level code ... I deactivated and deleted the version of LayerSlider WP that came with the theme then uploaded the most recent version and used the personal key I purchased for $25 ... NOW, it's working.
GoDaddy also changed the php version from 8.0 to 7.4 and upped the memory on the server.
