Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

The attached warning appeared on my website recently (see attached screen shot) and realized that I still have an old version of LayerSlider. In order to update it I just purchased a license and tried to update LS to the latest version. This however doesn't work. Need your help on:

    - update to the latest version

    - will the update solve the issue mentioned on the attached screen shot?

    thank you in advance

    Hi Hendrik,

You can find instructions on how to update LayerSlider on the following URL: https://layerslider.com/how-to-update/

In most cases you just need to enter your license key and the WordPress updater will offer to update to the latest version. As I can see you're using Enfold, which loads the bundled version of LayerSlider dynamically. This, sadly, differs from the recommended way, and you will likely first need to disable the bundled version in your theme settings, then install the official release manually. Your sliders and settings are in the database and this won't touch them.

The PHP warning message is coming from Enfold. I'm not sure whether the update will solve it, but you can hide it by disabling the WP debug mode. If you don't see anything wrong on your site other than the debug message, it can be safely ignored. You can also contact the theme author to ask about it.

    Hi Hendrik,

What download files are you referring to exactly? You can download LayerSlider by logging in to account.kreaturamedia.com with the email address you used for purchase. It should download a single .ZIP file, which is the installation package that you can upload to WordPress right away. There's no need to uncompress it.
