Unfortunately I faced an issue of Layerslider (WP) with the feature "play by scroll". We're using the slider as first element on top of a page (see related url). When page is scrolled Layerslider isn't pinned instantly and scrolls more or less with page before it gets pinned and jumps back into it's place. Scrollable distance before slider gets pinnend depends on used browser. Many browsers on Windows devices are effected by that (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Only native Safari on Mac devices is able to get this done correctly, Chrome and Firefox are affected also on Macs by that behaviour.
Unfortunately, I cannot suggest a solution for this at the moment.
Probably we will completely remake the play by scroll feature in one of the future versions, which means these problems will be fixed and it will have a lot more feature than before.
