Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Using different slider on mobile

I'm trying to duplicate the slider shown on this site https://procarcarene.com/. I have done so successfully on desktop but mobile is an issue. If you view that site on mobile you will see that the photos are stacked. I'm having a hard time reproducing the slider on mobile by just using the "ls-hide-xx" properties. It's almost like I need a separate version of the slider for mobile. I've tried using some jquery to check the window size and based on the window size to show one slider for desktop, tablet and another slider for mobile, but am facing issues when the browser is resized.

So, do you think my approach to using jquery to detect window size is the best method so that I can show a different slider. Do you have any recommendations. It's the width and the height of the slider that really needs to be different for each version.

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello Diana,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

I checked your page but I only see Revolution Slider, there is no LayerSlider in the code.

Which page can I check the plugin?

The page where I have LayerSlider is on my local development server. I’m trying to reproduce the Revolution Slider. I sent you that link to show you what I’m trying to reproduce.

If you resize the browser down for the Revolution Slider link to mobile or view on a mobile device you will see how the layout changes where the photos are stacked. So, is it possible to do this in LayerSlider using one slider?

I’m having difficulties doing it in LayerSlider because the slider scales down the width and height on mobile and I really need the height to change on mobile for the slider. It seems like I almost need a completely different version for mobile so I can adjust the slider width and height. Is there a way to tell Layerslider that on mobile devices to change the width and height of the slider?

    Hello Diana,

Thank you for the answer and sorry for the late response!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to achieve this feature with one slider.

You should create a separate slider for mobile, duplicate the desktop slider, modify the canvas width/height, layer styles and set the hide over option to 600px for example.

If you have any other question, feel free to ask.
