Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I am not seeing any way of changing the font size for desktop, tablet or phone for the same slider. I have chosen responsive but I still need there to be a greater variance then is occurring. I read that you can turn the slider off for mobile devices but that is not a solution since I want it to be my header.

If what I am asking is simply not possible then do you think the work around would be to duplicate the slider, and so I have 2x copies, and make one for desktop (then turn off tablet and phone) then make the 2nd slider with the heading font sized for tablet and phone (and turn off desktop). I wonder if that would work at all.

I use divi and am using the shortcode not php if that helps at all.

    Hello Curtis,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Since version 6 of LayerSlider you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This feature is called device specific layers, and it gives you the option to create separate layers for mobile, tablet and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device. This only changes the slider on the layer level. It is possible to set min.mobile font size in the layer styles.

Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content/layout for desktop and mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options in the Slider Settings) on the required device. You can change every slider option this way. So this gives you more control, but requires more work.

Is the hide over hide under settings value in pixels? And does that apply to the slide background image too or just the slides?

    Hello Curtis,

Yes the hide over/under option is in px. It is apply for the slider itself, so if you set it for example hide under 768px then the slider will not visible in devices under 768px.
