I've had problems with my site recently, where it's impossible to load the first page. My web host tells me that this page is 50 Mb in size, so naturally it can be tough to load...
This page consists of just three blocks, a simple header, a navbar and a LayerSlider slide, built on the Interactive Slider template. In the slider there's a background map and a lot of small images and short texts, so I can't understand why it's so big.
I know that there's almost a hundred revisions to fall back on, I don't know how to delete those, but maybe that's a substantial reason for the slider's size? Or can there be other not-used data that could be deleted?
Thankful for any help,
Regards, //Lars Aldman
Hello Lars,Thank you for getting in touch with us!The size is not related to the revisions. The problem is that your images are too big.You should use a compress tool before upload them to wordpress because it not normal for a website. For example, you should try one of these tools:https://compressor.io/https://tinypng.com/
