Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Whenever I edit a slider only changing the text it fails to save the changes and returns this message.
Please check LayerSlider -> Options -> System Status for potential errors, try to temporarily disable themes/plugins to rule out incompatibility issues or contact your hosting provider to resolve server configuration problems. Your HTTP server thrown the following error:

Hello Dave,
Thank you for getting in touch with us!
Could you please send me a screenshot about your LayerSlider WP -> Options -> System Status tab?
Best Regards,

I attached a screenshot of the status settings.
Hello Dave,
Thank you!
Firstly, I suggest you to update your plugin to the latest version.
https://layerslider.kreaturamedia.com/documentation/#updating-manual
After that you should enable the debug mode and check the php error logs about what cause this issue.
https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
In some cases, errors are caused by a 3rd party plugin or your theme. We often ask our customers to temporarily disable other plugins and switch to one of the default WP themes. This way we can quickly eliminate external and 3rd party factors. If it solves the problem, you can find which item caused the trouble by re-enabling them one-by-one and watching when the issue comes back.
I'm looking forward to your reply.

I'll update to another version but the slider that I'm editing and trying to save was created using this same version so I'm not sure why updating would help.
When updating do I need to delete the current plugin version and then add the new one? Looks I need to do it manually since the update button will not automatically perform the update.
Hello Dave,
Yes, if you update manually then you should remove the current plugin firstly.
Don't worry, your created sliders are stored in the database so you will not lost them.
If the update doesn't solve this problem, then check the steps which I mentioned in my previous message and let me know.

I updated successfully to the new version. I created a new slider with 2 slides, text, etc... and everything saved good. I went back and added a third slide with some basic text and now it won't save any changes. I also tried to edit an existing slider and it still won't save any changes.
I get this message.
It seems there is a server issue that prevented LayerSlider from saving your work. Please check LayerSlider → Options → System Status for potential errors, try to temporarily disable themes/plugins to rule out incompatibility issues or contact your hosting provider to resolve server configuration problems. Hello Dave,
Thank you for the answer!
So it doesn't occur with every slider. Probably it caused by a server limitation.
You should enable the debug mode and check or send me the php error logs about what cause this issue.
