Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

    My website was working fine until today. It won't advance past the opening splash screen. I don't know that anything has changed, unless it was something that auto-updated. I am using the Envato Diplomat theme on Wordpress (latest release).

    The error log indicates:

    [15-Aug-2020 18:03:48 UTC] WordPress database error Unknown column 'flag_group' in 'where clause' for query                 SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS *
                    FROM wpkw_layerslider
                    WHERE flag_group = '0' AND flag_deleted = '0'                 ORDER BY `date_m` DESC
                    LIMIT 0, 10

                 made by require('wp-blog-header.php'), require_once('wp-includes/template-loader.php'), include('/themes/diplomat/page.php'), get_footer, locate_template, load_template, require_once('/themes/diplomat/footer.php'), wp_footer, do_action('wp_footer'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, wp_admin_bar_render, do_action_ref_array('admin_bar_menu'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, {closure}, LS_Sliders::find

    Please help!

    Hi Brian,

    It seems that your database wasn't updated properly. This should have happened automatically in the background, but you can force the update manually as well. Please navigate to LayerSlider -> Options -> System Status and click on the Update Database button.

    If this solution doesn't help, then it might be an issue at the database level. Usually it's a permission issue when LayerSlider cannot make changes to the database structure. In that case you should contact your web hosting provider and ask them to look into this since only they have the tools to fix such an issue.

    Also, please make sure to use the latest version of LayerSlider and try this solution with that version. The latest release is version 6.11.2.

    Best Regards,
