I use Layer slider for my homepage. I added and changed the slider. It worked for a while, till yesterday when I updated all my plugins.
I tried to restore the site. No good. Tried to get the old home page with original slider back as Home page. That worked fine, although the slider was not vidible.
As I see there is a javascript
error on your site, which is not related to LayerSlider but it can cause
problem with the initialization of it.
With the update to WordPress 5.5, a migration tool known as
jquery-migrate will no longer be enabled by default. This may lead to
unexpected behaviors in some themes or plugins who run older code. You should
try this plugin for a temporary solution: :https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/
After that the slider should
work properly. Please check it.
I had exactly the same issue. Used the plugin ' Enable jQuery Migrate Helper ' and my problem is fixed as well. Thanks for the ticket and the solution! :)
